- TBTicia BullionMay 19, 20251.0I live near these new home construction sites in Livingston Parish, and the experience has been consistently frustrating and unpleasant!!! The workers frequently block the road, making it difficult and sometimes dangerous for neighbors, as well as school buses to get through. There is trash scattered all over the area -- it often ends up in ditches, our yards, and along the street! Contractors have also been seen using residents' private driveways to turn around, without permission or regard for property boundaries. This has happened repeatedly, and it's intrusive and inconsiderate. Even worse, I and others have witnessed some of the contractors urinating in public -- in the street and even between the houses being built. This is not only unsanitary, but also incredibly disrespectful to our street and its residents. I understand that construction is disruptive by nature, but there is no excuse for this kind of behavior and lack of cleanliness!!! I hope the developers or contractors take responsibility and improve their practices!!!! I would definitely think twice before using them!
