  Ricky was the technician who performed the work. Ricky was the consummate professional - clearly an expert on the equipment (which was very dated) and extremely helpful. It was a late Friday service call but Ricky was extremely patient and took the time necessary to make sure everything was completed and working properly. Great value. I really couldn’t have asked for a better service experience - because of Ricky Overhead Door of Kentucky will get my continued business and I will also refer my friends to Overhead Door of Kentucky!

  We had an excellent experience with Overhead Door of NKY and would highly recommend them. We're very glad they are the ones we called. They were responsive, helpful and reasonably priced. The technician, Ronnie, was great! He was friendly, knowledgeable and walked us through everything.

  Ricky, did a great job of replacing a broken spring and replacing an old spring in inclimate weather. He made sure both garages were running smoothly. The garage doors are now super quiet. I would absolutely recommend asking for Ricky when booking with overhead door. The only thing I would add as a negative would be the price, not under his control. When I booked the appointment I was given a price based on what I described as two single car garage door springs. Well the gal who booked and quoted put down a two car garage vs two single car garages so inherently the cost went up by over a $100.00. I was not too happy about this but had no choice. I would suggest that you make sure that you are being quoted what you are asking/telling them.

  Chandler was wonderful to work with on my garage door. He first tried to get my 2006 motor working again, but when it couldn’t be repaired, he installed a new motor that now runs beautifully and so quiet. He also took the extra step of programming my car to work with the new system. Throughout the process, Chandler showed kindness, patience and impressive knowledge. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing overhead garage services. He was dependable, skilled and genuinely caring.

  Overall I felt we received a fair price and the repairmen were quick and punctual. The only issue I did have was not being contacted prior to any repairs being made. I specifically called the repairman as he was en route to my property and asked that he call me once he diagnosed the problem and before any repairs were made. He neglected to do this, and simply called me for my credit card information. Had this been a more costly repair that he had gone forth with, this could’ve put both of us in quite the predicament. Either way, I did not appreciate the lack of communication on the repairman’s end and failure to give me a call back as he had said he would. I would likely go with another company in the future to avoid this issue all together. Communication is key.
