  Theel gets one star I had Theel do a gas line at my house a bit of a learning experience for me, they did one half of the job tested it and I was told it was fine by their worker Cody a few weeks later when they cleared their calendar of jobs I contacted them about finishing the job, and I was told Mr Theel would not do the work or put his name on the job. My father was a contractor and I drilled the holes in the walls ran the lines that needed to be connected, and covered the gas lines just like I promised, and it was inspected by Theel. I had to run a gas-line on the floor but planned on covering the line just as I did the other line that passed, me doing a hard work needed to run the lines. I have the invoice from the first job showing I paid cash and paid in full for the same type of Work. Since Theel answers the other comment I look forward for that office explaining why their people that did the work won't honor their word and finish the job they promised to do. So Mr Theel here is your chance to explain why. While you are explaining things I called another guy out of this area and he said he called Conklin and Conklin showed him my pictures, ...how strange because Conklin wasn't at my house to see the work the only person to take pictures was Theels employee, but I am sure you can explain that here for everyone to see.

  When we were searching for a new HVAC system the owner came to do a consultation. During which my wife and I told him we keep our house at 65 degrees all year long. I asked him if the unit he sold us didn’t perform the way we needed to, would we have to eat the cost replacing it with a bigger unit? He insisted that the unit he was going to sell us would do the same thing. It has not! My wife and I called and messaged him many times summer and he has not offered to replace it. The owner lies and will never admit he was wrong. Our unit was replaced in November of 2022. We only replaced it because it started leaking Freon and we were told that was our only choice. Last summer, our new unit started having trouble keeping up, but wouldn’t you know warranty wouldn’t cover anything. The unit froze up and we were without air for 2 days while we waited for a technician to come out to assess the unit. I told him my kids (now 1 and 3) couldn’t sleep in that heat and he didn’t care. Between the Freon they added, the labor charges, and travel charges for the multiple times they came out to try to ‘fix’ the issue, we have spent over $3000. That’s an over 1/3 of the original purchase price of the HVAC system in just a year and a half of owning it. Today is May 5th, 2025, the temp outside is 70 degrees. However, our house is 72 degrees and won’t go below that.. I’m currently consulting a lawyer due to his outright lie he told my wife and I when we inquired if the unit would meet our needs and his guarantee that it would. It’s sad that the unit he replaced was there for over 40 years and never had trouble keeping the house at 65 degrees. Hindsight is 20/20. Don’t make our mistake! If you can go with any other company than Theel, DO IT!

  Called was told they were backed up with calls and it would be a day or two, which was fine with me.(12°F this am) When the schedule did change a bit they called to let me know of the change.(I really appreciate the communication) Arrived on time, didn't leave any mess for me to lean up. Their technician was knowledgeable and friendly and the cost was reasonable for the service. Positive experience all the way around.
