Just came here to say beware unless you aren’t concerned about cost. We actually did not end up using their service. We did pay a fee for them to come out and take a look at our kitchen faucet that had very low water pressure. However, the estimate we were given was so high and included much more extensive repairs than what we were expecting, we decided to get another opinion from an individual plumber. The estimate just for INSTALLATION of a faucet was $500, and that included nothing else. In the end, we did not need a new faucet at all. The one we had was easily repaired. In addition, a couple of other items were repaired AND we had a new bathroom faucet installed since the plumber was coming out. ALL of it for $500 total for his services. We would have been out double or triple that by their estimate. To be precise, their cheapest estimate was over $1300.00! I’m sure they do fine work, but beware of the inflated cost!

Thank goodness for Polestar! Marcy (I hope that’s her name) The manager over customer service and Anthony took great care of my mom! I called them all on my way to taking my son to school and got their number from one of the vans in front of me! They took excellent care of my mom and they were able to see her the same day! I appreciate the excellent customer service and you provide for us! Thank you for everything! TJ Thompson

I had Polestar out on February 1st to fix a pipe that burst from freezing and thawing. Positives: A technician was out that day and fixed the pipe. Everything after that has been a negative. I submitted my receipt to my insurance to file a home owner’s insurance claim. They responded they needed a diagnostic report from Polestar stating what caused the leak and a photo of the pipe. At this point I’ve reached out to Polestar 4 times in an attempt to get anything to support my insurance claim. I continue to hear ‘they will be reaching out soon’ but at this point (February 11th) I really just wish I would have gone with a different plumbing company that would have handled my issue the first time with proper documentation for my insurance claim. Dealing with an insurance claim and home repairs is stressful enough. Save yourself some additional stress and do not work with Polestar for your repairs.

We have a large boiler system on our home and it has a large water pump The pump failed at the least opportune time for us. This repair required urgent attention and polestar responded to my 7:45 AM call and coordinated an appointment to diagnose our situation. They ordered parts and followed up the next day to install the new pump. Of course it was winter and extremely cold outside so the repair work could not wait. The pump functioned properly and the work was competently completed. Polestar is very savvy with boilers and they knew what work had to be completed. At no fault of their own. There ended up being a manufacturers defect with the pump. Polestar responded immediately and coordinated appointments to remedy the situation. I felt that the polestar crew was more knowledgeable than the manufacturer of this pump and I was quite relieved by their expertise. They replaced the manufacturer’s defective pump and made the situation 100% resolved. The new pump was professionally installed and works perfectly.

Polestar called me and asked if wouldblikento schedule a $49 maintenance for my system. My system did not have any issues when they arrived, motor was working just fine turning the blower on and off and maintaining the temperature of the home. The tech who was very nice brought me down to show me the services that he felt needed attention, none of which included the motor. About 30-45 minutes later he calls me down to tell me that he is not able to get my system to turn back on. Then proceeds to inform me that it will cost over $3300 to fix it. I look forward to talking with their management tomorrow and updating this review. As of now its 20° outside and I have no working heater that worked just fine before the technician touched it. Update After everything Polestar was unwilling to make this situation right. My family went 2 days without heat in the sub-freezing temperatures. I called a different company to give me a second opinion. The technician was here for 5 minutes before he had my system up and running without replacing any parts. I would not recommend Polestar to anyone if the would like to be treated as a customer and not a $ sign.
