The recommendation was made after only a brief visual inspection. No effort was made to verify system performance, identify specific faults, or explain why replacement was necessary. This lack of proper evaluation raises serious concerns about the credibility of the recommendation and suggests the visit was focused on upselling a new furnace rather than providing an honest assessment. I find this practice unprofessional and concerning, especially for homeowners who may not be familiar with HVAC systems and could be pressured into unnecessary and costly replacements. I expected a legitimate service call, not a sales pitch. To owner: No thanks.
