- TWTravis WiltzAug 12, 20255.0Yes, it has been hot, And my air conditioner, wasn’t keeping up. I called and asked if someone could check it out. The technician came out a couple days later and proceeded to tell me I was low on Freon . He said I had R22 which they no longer used, So he asked if I wanted a quote for a new unit. I said no thanks, I was charged $100. I called another company. In the end, I had the opportunity to meet the owner Dale Rotramel. He went in depth about how the government’s regulations have eliminated R22. I explained with rising costs everywhere I was not yet able to afford a new unit. He completely understood. I now have a better understanding of HVAC. Not to take anything away from the previous technician, but Dale is great at his profession as well as with people. I am not getting a new unit at this time, but I am a new customer, and whenever I do I’ll call MJB Heating & Cooling.

They went above and beyond by delivering two portable AC units several days before installation to help manage airflow and high indoor temperatures. The team completed the new AC installation in about four hours and took the time to explain how to optimize cooling overnight. I highly recommend MJB for their excellent service and customer care.
