The technician was either lying or incompetent (not sure which is worse). I can say that because I had the Overhead Door Company of Columbus come out for a second opinion and they quickly fixed a broken gear in the assembly for much less than it obviously required to replace the whole unit! I'll definitely stay with Overhead for any issues in the future!
