  I called Overhead doors for an estimate for a new garage door opener because mine was no longer functioning. I had already checked everything that could possibly have been wrong and concluded it was the opener itself and I told the girl at the office this situation. She said they had to send someone out to check it out. I already had my car out of the garage with the help from a neighbor. All I needed was a price and an installation of a new opener. But the technician came out spent about 10 minutes in my garage and did absolutely nothing because there was nothing to be done. He said the office would call me that afternoon with the cost and to set up a schedule. He then sat in his truck outside my house for at least 20 minutes. This was on a Friday morning. I did not hear anything from them the rest of the day And did not receive a call first thing Monday morning. So I figured they were no longer interested in my business and I called another company. They did call at 11:11 AM Monday and I told them because I had not heard from them that I figured they were not interested in my business and I had called elsewhere. They said they would send an invoice and I questioned this because their website said they give free estimates. About 10 days later I received an invoice from them for a service call and a fuel charge. I called again because I do not believe I owe this. I wanted to talk to the owner and he was supposed to call me the following day. Again, no phone call. I waited a week And then I called the office again. The owner was in that day, but he was busy and I was told that he would call me back as soon as he was available. He called me later that afternoon. He said I owed the bill because of his technicians “expertise“. I told him I already knew the opener needed replacing, and I had told them that when I originally had called. He said he would look at the file and then call me back the next morning. That was on August 25th and I still have not heard back from him and that was 9 days ago. He was argumentative, condescending, and bullying, and he is trying to take advantage of a grieving, elderly widow.

  Mark and Bryan came to service both our home garage door and two overhead barn doors on our property. This was our first routine maintenance call, and we are beyond grateful they came! Not only did they work quickly and efficiently but they were able to identify and fix an issue with one of our barn doors. They also discovered a potential disaster with our home garage door, installed by a different company, where the secures were coming off the wall. Their attention to detail potentially saved us from a hefty-priced catastrophe. I highly recommend Springfield Overhead Door and highly recommend their bi-annual maintenance.

  I have used Springfield Overhead Doors by Hart for all my garage door needs for years for both my residential and commercial properties. They have always been prompt, professional and fairly priced. My latest experience was to repair a bent track and a malfunctioning door opener on a rental condo. I expected to pay $500 to $1000 to replace both. The technician straightened the track to like new condition and identified the problem with the opener as radio interference from LED light bulbs the tenant had installed in it. My total bill was $55. They are the best. Thank you, Mark Collebrusco

  Unfortunately late one evening over the weekend one of the cables snapped on my garage door. I called first thing Monday morning and to my surprise a repair tech showed up about three hours later. Quick and easy he replaced the cable and I was so surprised at how fast they were able to fit me in the schedule. This is my second experience working with this company and I will continue using them. Thank you for the incredible customer service both on the phone and with the repair tech who showed up, answered all of my questions and quickly fixed the issue.
