- BWBrian Wilson3 days ago2.0They installed the roof in 2016. They no longer perform residential work and had a non transferable workmanship guarantee. Shingles began sliding off in 2019, and I just found a spot where they completely failed to place a shingle at a roof joint at the gutter line. Finally they failed to install a component correctly and I have wood damage just below the roof edge. Part 2. For anyone reading the review and the company’s response, note that they try to use the time of 9 years even though poor workmanship caused problems after only 3 years as my initial review indicated.

They were so thorough and pleasant throughout their service visit. They informed us of what they had found showing us pictures of the issues and then also showing us pictures of the completed repairs.
- JSJonathan SenalAug 24, 20185.0I like honesty. Showalter Roofing Service's estimator, Willi, came to investigate a leak in my roof and give an estimate for a repair. He determined what was the most likely problem, showing me pictures to substantiate his claim. He gave me two estimates. One was less than $100. The other was more than $300. Having had experience renovating property, I know that both repair techniques were good options. I asked him the obvious question: if he were in my shoes, what would he do. He said he'd do the inexpensive repair, and said that I have a 1 year warranty; if the inexpensive repair fails in that time, hell come back, do the expensive repair, and deduct the price of the original repair from the new bill. Willi could have taken me for a ride. Instead, he was honest. I really appreciate it. If Willi is any indication of the type of people working for Showalter Roofing Services, it must be a very good company. Thank you, Willi
