After reading their stellar reviews here, I called them about a fairly straightforward HVAC replacement to help fix a heat/humidity issue we were having in the house, only to be told that wasn’t the issue (even though my unit was over 20 years old) and what I *really* needed was a bunch of additional insulation, new exterior soffit vents, a new return vent, and more to the tune of over $7000. I was skeptical but Ireland’s owner was insistent and I decided to trust the experts. After all of that work was conducted, there was zero noticeable change in our issue - truly, zero. I first emailed to express my disappointment and frustration and was ignored for over a week. I then called them, and while trying to state my case firmly but professionally and factually, I was gaslighted into thinking it was somehow my fault that this issue wasn’t resolved, and that it still couldn’t be my 20+ year old unit that was part of the problem. After that unproductive conversation, I was told by the owner that they would follow up with me again shortly with potential remedies - only for them to completely ghost me. I have had pleasant professional working experiences with just about every home services company/contractor I have ever hired - my review history will confirm this - but this was one the only times I felt like I was led astray by a company was too proud (or greedy?) to admit they led me down the wrong path. For the record, most of their associates I worked with were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful - the issue is with the people at the top.
