Juan with Hoekstra came out today and was so professional. He explained everything to me and could not have been more courteous and knowledgeable. He replaced a filter as I recently had drywall and paint work performed in my basement that generated extra dust. My tenant noticed odors, and no longer did with the removal of the previous filter. I purchased your best filter. He's an expert. I hope when I have future concerns he will be the tech. Hoekstra is very fortunate to have Juan on your team. Angelica C.

We had a tech, Steven, come out to determine if repairs were an option. He was very clear and full of information that helped us choose the next step. That same day, Brian came out to give us a quote on a replacement. He spent over two hours with us going over our needs, wants, and looking over things in our house asking us questions we hadn't even thought of.
They even dropped of a few space heaters for us to use while we waited, just a few days, for the install. Chris and another young man came out and were very nice, clean, and explained everything they did very clearly and helped get is up and running again.
Everyone from the first step was great.

Had my furnace replaced on an "emergency" basis. Chris K/James G (sales/installation) were great. Front office dropped the ball! Getting something as simple as a paid invoice with date of installation, equipment (furnace/thermostat) model/serial number would likely be easy to transmit on/with invoice (especially since Hoekstra must be aware of a NICOR rebate). Have spent last day and a half pulling covers off furnace/tapping on thermostat just for basic information for rebate submission. Hoekstra isn't aware that customer might need these for a rebate? Times are a changin'. Had a similar installation in 2004 but the invoice included everything you might want to know - model/serial numbers, individual component prices. I shouldn't have and to call for a copy of the signing papers, work order, final invoice. Glad the furnace is working but this is the "icing on the cake" that simmers to the top and makes the experience thumbs up or down! Five stars for sales/installation; 1 star for the front office. Remember they say the job's not done until the paperwork is done!! (Get on this Spencer H!!!)

We were away from our house when we had issues with our furnace. We had a great relationship with Pannicia HVAC. Paniccia clients are now being served by Hoelsta. We entrusted Hoekstra to enter the home without us being there as we would have Paniccia. Several attempts to fix our HVAC unit were unsuccessful as many of the symptoms were intermittent failures that they tried to recreate to fix the problem. But that didn't stop Hoekstra from getting to the bottom of our problem with additional visits. The final visit ( We Hope) was from Steve. Steve, again, was there without our being present. He notified us upon entering and gave us updates as he progressed to fixed our problems. Upon leaving he called us to explain what was done on this visit and felt comfortable with his work on our job. He believes he fixed our problems. Steve was very professional and I assume a very adept technician. Thank you for a very good experience.
