The egress window looks great. The crew did a great job and made sure the site was cleaned up before leaving.

Toby and the crew at Direct Egress did a fantastic job. They were on time, worked all day to complete the install and cleaned up like they were never there. The following day they finished the interior perfectly. After about a month with some pretty intense rains, there is no sign of any water in or around the window. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a new egress window.

I had an egress window installed and had a great experience! From the initial estimate which was quick, professional and zero pressure to the follow-through when I proceeded forward with the work! The crew (Jacob, Joey, Josh, and Justin) were professional and quick (start to finish within a matter of hours)! And the finished product looks great!

Frequently Asked Questions About Direct Egress & Construction

What is the purpose of an egress window and what size do I need for my space?

An egress window functions as an emergency exit from basements or lower levels of a home. It is a mandatory feature in legal bedrooms, providing a crucial escape route in case of emergencies. The required size of egress windows can vary by location. Generally, they should have a clear opening of at least 5.7 square feet, with minimum height and width specifications to allow safe passage. For specific measurement requirements in your area, please contact our office for detailed information.
