MD restoration was hired to do the repairs to my apartment by the property management company after the unit above had a leak. The lack of communication was appalling. We had set a date when the the damaged ceiling was to be removed but no one contacted me when workers would arrive, what needed to be done on my end to clear space for the workers, and to arrange access to the unit. I awoke to them knocking on my door and returned the following day to my stuff strewn across multiple rooms of my house. I could have packed it up, I could have been up and ready but nothing was communicated. Even when the demo work was done, they texted that they would communicate when clearance to reenter the unit would be but I heard nothing back and called the next day as I was checking out of my hotel only to find that work had been completed the day before and that they again, "thought they had messaged me." The following day they returned to put in the drywall for the ceiling, but again, no communication about arrival times or work that was being done and how long they would be in the unit. I've given up contacting the coordinator and just talk with the construction crew as they actually contact me and inform me of all the important information. I would have fired them and hired a new company if it were my unit and not the property management coordinating the repairs.

I am a General manager at a condo complex, called MDS due to high recommendations and positive reviews on google. Response time was great, removal of mold was also top notch (but read Below for more on that). The repair on the other hand, lets just say I have no good things to say about the repair work. Repairs where laser straight if you turned your head sideways and looked at it crossed eyed. Its like they had no idea what a level was, this was from 7-10 ft away. Up close just never seen such bad work, what makes it worse they tried to pass it off as complete. Demanding payment when JOB IS NOT COMPLETE. I should have checked Y E L P after reading the negative reviews there I would not have used MDS Restoration and Cleaning. They where constantly trying to get the homeowner to sign off on the work so they can just walk away free and clear. No company with any integrity at all should ever do work like this. To continue on the mold the removal was top notch for the mold that they decided to remove. Bottom of drywall next to door visible 3 inch by 3 inch section all black, window frames black with mold. I'm not the expert I could see this, looked exactly the same as all the mold they removed they just decided to skip stuff. I've been in the business for over 10 years dealt with many companies, some good some bad. Normally the bad ones I just shrug my shoulders and move on. MDS excels at poor workmanship I have no choice but to do a review, in hopes of sparing someone throwing away good money.
