There was a leak in our roof which caused light flooding in the house. MD Restoration was our first call and they quickly got someone out to our property within the hour. Justin from MD Restoration was so nice and extremely helpful! He explained everything to us in detail and kept us at ease during this semi chaotic time. We are so grateful!

MD restoration was hired to do the repairs to my apartment by the property management company after the unit above had a leak. The lack of communication was appalling. We had set a date when the the damaged ceiling was to be removed but no one contacted me when workers would arrive, what needed to be done on my end to clear space for the workers, and to arrange access to the unit. I awoke to them knocking on my door and returned the following day to my stuff strewn across multiple rooms of my house. I could have packed it up, I could have been up and ready but nothing was communicated. Even when the demo work was done, they texted that they would communicate when clearance to reenter the unit would be but I heard nothing back and called the next day as I was checking out of my hotel only to find that work had been completed the day before and that they again, "thought they had messaged me." The following day they returned to put in the drywall for the ceiling, but again, no communication about arrival times or work that was being done and how long they would be in the unit. I've given up contacting the coordinator and just talk with the construction crew as they actually contact me and inform me of all the important information. I would have fired them and hired a new company if it were my unit and not the property management coordinating the repairs.

I burned a pot on the stove and needed smoke mitigation. MD Restoration's Project manager, Paul, did a great job, but we needed to run the machines venting the smoke a few more days to totally get rid of the smoky air in the unit which was making me sick. For doing the job completely to safeguard my health, MD Restoration charged me $5,000 above the "industry standard" which I must pay out of pocket. They ran a couple of machines s little longer---its not as if they did any "work" the way a tiler or carpenter actually do work---and they made an easy $5,000 and a huge hole in my budget that really hurts. I thought the few days might cost maybe $1,000 to $2,000 more, which seems reasonable. As my insurance agent said, "It's a choice they make."----Mrs. Jim Brewer

They dumped absorbent into my neighbors yard and now my neighbors are angry with us. I have the pictures of the absorbent they used. They came to my property about a month ago to fix a flood. But they didn't tell me about them littering materials into my neighbors property!
