A technician came to my home, assessed the situation, and determined it was actually a septic issue—not something they handle. No repair was done, and no plumbing service was performed beyond the diagnostic. However, I was later billed $495. I immediately contacted the company to dispute the charge and asked to speak with a manager or owner. I was told that no one was available and that the invoice would not be adjusted. I was only allowed to speak with front desk staff, who insisted on full payment and threatened to send the charge to collections. I ultimately had to pay a licensed septic company the next business day to resolve the issue, and I have receipts showing that the problem was septic-related. Action Plumbing provided no repair, no follow-up, and no transparency about the inflated charge. They also refused to provide documentation explaining how they arrived at the $495 amount. This is a predatory, bait-and-switch practice. I was quoted one price, received no service, and then was billed over three times what I agreed to.
