I see a lot of reviews on what a great job JD installed my unit! But did they check out if it was running efficiently? If your unit is loud and has a whistle sound it’s not running properly. My unit is not running efficiently because the old system was a R22 and the new system has to have more air flow. This requires a bigger return of air which requires the old systems return to be replaced with a larger duct to run efficiently. I got two other companies to come out and test the system and both were on board with the same findings. System needs a bigger return to run efficiency! Also noticed the outside unit was not properly secured to new plastic pad versus concrete pad and has vibrated about 2 inches , having to be adjusted! Buyers beware have your unit tested for efficiency after installation, mine was not! I recommend you contact a professional contractor such as Kennedy heating and air to properly install your system! Don’t forget to check your system before you pay them for proper running because looks good doesn’t mean it’s running properly!

Ok ! So we did reach out to several different companies for estimates. We decided to go with JD as they were more moderately priced and their reviews were excellent. They did the installation very efficiently. The guys , John, Chad, Mason &Josh were super nice and very professional. You could say they were the GOLD STAR COMPANY but I believe that they are FIVE DIAMOND LEVEL.
