- BMBobby MeechantFeb 15, 20251.0I gave them 1 starr cause I had to. The day he was supposed to show up between 2pm and 6pm. He was supposed to call before or when he got there 6pm come crickets. Call Haynes she said he come at 3. I asked why didn't he call. So had to wait till next day and another tech come. This one was on time to the dot. He said that my secondary heat exchanger was stopped up on a week old furnace. Said he had to call someone to get approved to do work. He got out his truck said his boss at Haynes said he couldn't work on it. Said it would be 4500.00 dollars if he was to. Might I remind u it's brand new. I do work for a commercial hvac company and maybe he didn't see my company van when he told me that . My brand new furnace had a water logged secondary heat exchanger,pipe was wrong wasn't level how he knew that without a level is beyond me. So he said he wasn't allowed to work on it but I could call and get a new one installed. Then tells me it will be $89.00 for the service call to tell me he really didn't know. Well when he left I called goodmans tech support. Spent 30 minutes on the phone with Ken. Come to find out the vent was wrong should of been 3in pvc all the way out house. Fixed it for 49 dollars and it's been heating every since. No issues I will say Haynes just isn't what it was when bill owned it. In conclusion I was the wrong customer to send and ask for a review of how yall did. You would of left me cold and it was 46 that night. Sorry but it's the truth.
