Seth Hill does quality work, not just in plumbing. I had mirrors removed from one wall in my master bedroom, drywall, recessed lighting, an overhead fan installed, and a closet redone and painting closet and bedroom. This was while I was away from my Florida home. Seth kept me well informed with pictures and status. I kept adding work because I knew I’d get a 1st class job, He installed a new water heater, a new faucet and a new electric panel. You can have peace of mind with his work.

Quickly located backflow preventer valve as the source of plumbing noise and installed a rebuild kit. Very nice work by Nick.

Will not would not ever call them again. I called them for a leak that we could not find. We already knew everything that Steve had informed me of. That there is a leak in the one bathroom, and that the faucet in the 2nd bathroom needs to be replaced. The only info he gave me that I did not know was that the 2nd bathroom needs to be fixed before he can locate the leak that is losing 4 gallons of water per minute. Ok fine, but then wants me to pay him $140 for him to do nothing. I don't mind paying you for your time, but $140 is not what you are worth. Especially when we already knew everything he was telling us. We called them to find the leak. This was not done. Nothing was fixed, just walked back and forth between bathrooms. I will give them 1 star only because I can not give zero.

Frequently Asked Questions About Hill & Hill Plumbing Co

Do plumbers have to be licensed in Florida?

Almost always yes, you need a plumbing contractor license in Florida to perform plumbing work. A handy man can make repairs to toilets and faucets, but cannot touch potable water pipes or valves without a plumbing license. Protect your health and your home by hiring only professional licensed contractors. Licenses are issued by the Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR). When you're in need of a licensed plumber, make sure Hill & Hill Plumbing Co is the first company you call!

What should I do when a pipe is leaking in my house?

Before anything else, turn off the main water supply. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), approximately one out of every 10 homes in the United States has a leak that can waste up to 90 gallons of water a day, so it's imperative to promptly turn off your water supply. This can be done at the main valve outside the home or at the backflow device at the meter. Next, call Hill & Hill Plumbing to access the situation. Our plumbing company offers same day services so issues such as these can be promptly addressed. Once we get there, we can let you know where this valve is located if you aren't aware. Knowing where your valve is and making sure it's in good working order will minimize damage to your home should a leak ever occur. From here, our team will address the issue quickly and efficiently.
