- JMJessica McCandlessOct 7, 20251.0Buyer Beware!!!!!! Unfortunately, we used the ST Johns county 5 * catalog to find a plumber for emergency weekend needs. Boy did we strike out with who they sent over. The guy was not willing to get dirty and see what was going on in the house, he was adamant that he needed to look at outside pipes. Eventually went through one toilet ( not the one that was gurgling) and told us our issue was outside and it would be a $30K job and he can send his team the following week. in the meantime call the city and tell them to check for an outside issue. So no water for a weekend, city came and tore up the yard and worked until 2 a.m. with notice that issue was inside the home, pipes were clear. noone called us until late Monday to schedule. We called another company Monday morning, they were here at 10 a.m. and sure enough worked on 2 toilets, found the problem, cleared us out and were out that afternoon. We called David Grey 4 times asking for a call back and they refused to call us back to discuss. In the meantime, out $700 with a wrecked backyard and a guy using a little tool for nothing!
