  They just tried to charge me $700 to repair a water line that was outside and totally easy to get to. Parts were 2 90's and glue. Lost $100 emergency charge to find out they are thieves. The driver admitted that the fix would take 20 minutes and he needed to wait an hour for the glue to dry. They were willing to charge $520 if they didn't stay for the hour. Highway Robbery unless you think this company needs to charge almost $500 an hour due to trucks, insurance, workman's comp etc. The technician said they have 40 trucks. 40 techs for 40 hours at $500 per hour comes to $800,000 per week. Don't let them tell you this isn't their rate because I was quoted this today for 20 minutes labor and 1 hour to watch the glue dry. Do the math. If you think this is fair, then you have money to burn. I do not. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED YOUR MONEY.

  From the first phone call getting help, to Corey (technician), it was a great experience. They understood exactly what was needed, were fast, clear, and lovely to have in my home. No "upselling" on stupid things. I had three bids for my job; one was higher, and one was lower than JHP, but it was the service from start to finish (people on the phones, technicians, etc) that won me over.

  Rick with Hafke plumbing is one of the most knowledgeable plumbers I’ve dealt with. Punctual, professional, and knows what he’s doing. Very communicative, super responsive over text and phone call and willing to answer any questions without hesitation.

  Bad service. Our bathroom got clogging. We hired James Haflke Plumbing to descale the sewer system with price of $3700. After 1 week, our bathroom got clogging again. They came back to unclog the pipe and stated everything was clear. However, the next day the bathroom got clogging again. Manager Michael stated they only provided 1 time service warranty and we did use it. If we want they come again to fix the issue, we need to pay them for new service. I personally think Manager Michael didn’t have management skills and James Haflke Plumbing did the bad service.

  I think that if you can wait a day and get some other quotes you should take that route. However, if it’s an urgent emergency, call hafke, they are responsive and will make it out to you. I needed a small 1/4 inch pvc pipe replaced and it was a non-invasive fix; meaning he didn’t have to drill new holes or break through any walls but I got charged about $900. He finished the job in 25 minutes which was nice but I wasn’t expecting that price at all and I can’t help but feel scammed. Try to look at all options before if it’s not urgent. I do give them credit for being prompt and making it to my home within 2 hours of calling them.
