- DTDavid Taylor2 days ago2.0I had Peaden come out for warranty-related service on my Briggs & Stratton standby generator after being referred during a manufacturer support process. The onsite technician was professional and courteous, and I appreciate his time. However, the overall experience was frustrating due to unexpected and poorly disclosed pricing. I was told at dispatch that there would be a standard service/dispatch fee, but I was not informed in advance of a very large additional “diagnostic” fee. That fee was only introduced after the technician consulted with management, and even then the details were unclear at first. When I asked whether the diagnostic fee was a one-time charge or something I would face again in the future, the technician did not know and had to call management again. I was later told it would be a one-time fee only if I enrolled in Peaden’s Elite membership program, which made the fee feel more like a conditional buy-in than a straightforward diagnostic cost. I was also told the fee was high because Peaden did not install the generator, and that it would have been waived if they had. That explanation did not sit well with me, particularly since this was a warranty-related situation and I had specifically requested a Briggs & Stratton–certified technician capable of diagnostics. Ultimately, I declined Peaden’s services and had the generator successfully worked on by another qualified local provider without extraordinary diagnostic fees. In short: • Technicians were professional • Pricing structure and disclosure were the main issue • Diagnostic fee felt excessive and policy-driven rather than technical I would recommend Peaden clearly disclose all diagnostic fees upfront at dispatch, especially when they are significant and tied to membership enrollment. Transparency here would go a long way.

No pressure to take any actions, just information and advice. Highly recommend Peaden electrical and plumbing!! Addition: David and Arnold came today to complete the electrical work I needed. They were professional, polite, and took time to listen and ask questions. They were through and cleaned up after themselves. Great job!!!!
- BHB HardinDec 28, 20255.0Had a slow drain in tub that I noticed after changing my shower head. Cleaned as much as I could myself but could get past the 90. Decided just to call a plumber so that could roto the line and clean it. The first company I called wanted $300+ just to show up , I laughed and hung up. Next on the list was Peadon called them reasonably priced and was pretty quick to respond waited only a day or two. They showed up did the job, it worked and price was reasonable. After learning they service lift stations I decided to have them do that service as well (Bre was awesome). Had to wait a day but still responded in good time and completed the job even went above expectation. The other companys in Area can not get to you for a week or two, (Peadon was able to schedule me same week). The other company's want to charge a stupid amount of money just to show up. Skip them and just call peadon, they are now my go to.

Best of all, unlike our old water heater, it doesn’t leak all over the floor and I don’t have to spend hours mopping and trying not to slide. We sincerely appreciate Joe from Peaden who made our Wish a reality and our service tech Adam for their kindness, professionalism, and outstanding work. We are truly grateful for everything they did and highly recommend them.
