From my initial interactions with Joe in the store, to the crews installing both LVP and carpet, they were nothing but professional and courteous. I appreciated the care with which my furniture was handled during install, and the attention to detail, which included the consideration of sightlines as they put in the LVP, and perfectly lining up the pattern on my carpet, even though it is faint and may not be noticed by most. Every question was answered thoroughly and promptly as well. Highly recommend for any of your flooring needs.
- SCSehee ChoiOct 19, 20251.0I recently had hardwood flooring installed by Flooring Center in Orlando, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The total job was quoted at $30,000, but due to poor workmanship, I had to spend an additional $10,000 to replace all the baseboards and repaint the lower part of the house. 1. Poor Concrete Leveling on First Floor: I was charged $691 for concrete leveling on the first floor, but it was never properly done. The floor ended up uneven, causing the baseboards to look crooked and poorly aligned. The final result was so bad, I had to hire someone else to reinstall all the baseboards and repaint the lower walls to fix the damage. 2. Unprofessional Installation & Damage: I don’t know if the installers were employees or subcontractors, but the work was very unprofessional. The walls were damaged with visible cracks, multiple corners were chipped, and several door frames were scratched or dented. I had to hire someone separately to repair drywall and patch these areas because the company refused to fix any of it. 3. Terrible Work on Second Floor: The second floor previously had carpet, which was removed. The new hardwood was so poorly installed that there are 1-inch gaps between the flooring and the baseboards in many areas. The leveling on this floor is also very uneven. Overall, this was a frustrating and costly experience. I would not recommend Flooring Center to anyone looking for quality flooring installation. The lack of professionalism, poor workmanship, and refusal to correct obvious issues made this one of the worst home renovation experiences I’ve had.
