  This review is long overdue. Last August my wife and I bought a home on S Atlantic in NSB that we knew had been neglected for years in terms of protection from the elements. There was a great deal of work that needed to be done to shield the beach front property from water intrusion and the impact of a potential hurricane. We soon met Steve Craig the principal owner and were convinced we were talking to the right people. Steve has been in this area as a builder and contractor for probably 40 years. Steve has seen it all and seen so many other contractors approach things in an ineffective manner. When we met, the punch list grew and grew of renovations we first needed then wanted. Steve NEVER tried to upsell and have us do too much. We had to come up with some creative solutions that never fazed him. The most impressive thing about Steve is the relationship that he has with his subs. All it took was a phone call and they were on it. He totally commanded their respect. Our project manager Steve Davis is the most personable, attentive, and hard working man I have ever seen in this business. Only positive responses to requests or complaints with a we’ll take care of it attitude. We did everything from grading the property and installing pavers to control water diversion around the house, to a new metal roof, to hurricane shutters, new windows and sliders, solid core interior doors and new hardware, interior and exterior painting. The whole process ran like a top and they were on it from a coordination point of view. The work was done with incredible efficiency and timeliness, a real rarity in this business. I can’t say enough positive about Blue Wave and would choose them over and over again. We had a tremendous relationship throughout the whole process, another rarity in this business. Steve Davis always communicated with us and sent frequent videos as we were not living on the property at the time. What else would you want in a contractor? Look no further, these are your guys!

  My wife and I have known Steve for over 50 years. A man of his word and a great contractor. He has come to our aid on several emergencies. Once at our beach house on Bethune where the lintel cracked and our second floor crashed on to the sliding glass doors on the first floor. He arrived immediately with floor jacks to get that weight off the doors and saved the day. The second time was when Hurricanes two years ago felled a 150 year old oak onto our roof crushing it. Repairs were started the day after the tree company lifted it off with a crane. Thank you Steve !!!!!!!
