  The repair tech was very efficient and quick to do the work. I will not be calling this company again however. They charged me $189 for a service fee due to it being a Saturday. I get it, but then they wanted over $300 more dollars just to replace a spigot for my hose that wouldn’t shut off. I told the tech forget it and I would shut my water off until Monday and call someone else. He finally did the job for $100 which is still a lot considering I was pating the service fee as well. Imagine if I didn’t know any better. This company is crooked! Don’t use them. Also, he wanted to take a picture of my water heater. I declined. Weird

  Javier provided excellent explanations regarding our water heater issue and noise from a shower head. We also inquired about a water filtration system for our home and he was able to explain the benefits and differences between different systems. He is very knowledgeable, respectful of our property and a pleasant young man to deal with. Thank you

  Adel and Alejandro were great to work with. Very knowledgeable and respectful. All questions we asked were explained fully in great detail making it easy to understand. They cleaned and everything was spotless and made sure we had no more questions before they left. The Pro-Tec experience was top shelf from Rick who came out to give us the quote to the install crew of Adel and Alejandro. Great people to work with Highly recommend.

  I was extremely disappointed with the service call. We had a leak dripping from a second floor bathroom into our family room below. We called for service. Your technician arrived and stayed approximately two hours. About 20 minutes were spent upstairs where the leak originated. He identified that the shower faucets were defective. The other hour and a half was spent on the phone "with his boss" or downstairs trying to sell us additional services. He invoiced us $74 for "Pluming Dispatch Fee". Which we expected to pay for him to come out and access the problem. We were also invoiced $285.52 for "Evaluating and troubleshooting problematic fixture". And we were invoiced another $305.91 for "Testing shower pan....." which involved his running about an inch or two of water in the shower pan to see if it was leaking. As I said, most of the time he was trying to upsell us on pluming and HVAC services. We told him, "No thanks" We are selling the house and it is under a listing contract. Nevertheless, he put a maintenance contract on the bill ($183.00/month) on the bill which I discovered after he had left and it had been charged to our credit card. After his visit, nothing has been accomplished. The shower is still leaking; we have to empty several gallons of water during the course of the day and night from trash cans positioned under the leaks. I am copying our contractor who recommended your services and suggesting that he reconsider recommending your company to his customers in the future.

  Hello…it is sincerely an honor to share my experience and this review with everyone in Southwest Florida. The Company is called Pro-Tec Plumbing and Air….but a company is so much more than a name, in fact…it is 100% about their people…their employees who actually carry out the service that they provide. Just yesterday, my family and I had the pleasure of experiencing and thoroughly enjoying a Service call with 2 awesome men from Pro-Tec. Their names were Ben and Ram, and together, they brought a level of warm professionalism along with a refined skillset, topped with a heartfelt goodness and a mannerly personal approach of which we have Never seen before from any Service technicians in Florida. It was so uplifting and refreshing that when the service call was over, we felt like we were old friends…and we actually looked forward to needing to call them again one day to work with them again…..that’s how special they both were. This may sound a little superfluous to describe a service call this way…but I assure you this: In my 65 years on this earth, I have Never experienced such pride-in-workmanship…such good old-fashioned manners and pleasantness, and heartwarming graciousness than we all did with Ben and Ram in our home. They did fabulous work and you would be lucky to need to hire them for your next Plumbing or Air Conditioner concern. Most sincerely, David and Beth Nader
