  We scheduled a discovery appointment with Lickety Split for installation of a water softener in a new construction home that is already pre-plumbed with a loop. The technician stated the installation would cost $2,500 because we planned to purchase a Whirlpool unit from Lowe’s, and that no warranty would be provided since it was not their product. After the technician left, the main office called to “negotiate” the price. Based on this experience, we chose not to move forward and are sharing this so others can make an informed decision.

  Google absolutely needs to add a negative stars option cause even 1 star is to go for this Absolutely atrocious service!! we were charged an apparently non-refundable $289.00 which was said to go towards repairs just to have someone come out following our property's well pump failing and leaving us without water and be told "their was Absolutely nothing that could be done for our system and we had no other choice to replace it for $4,000.00 and that noone else would come out and touch it or charge us any less then $1000.00 to make repairs cause the system was no longer serviceable" all they did was take a few pictures of our pump system and walk back to their truck!! in a household of disabled and elderly individuals we pleaded with them to try and fix it just be turned down left without any water and told good luck with nothing being done. We had another company come out this morning and in under 20 minutes they examined and fixed our " non serviceable system " and for under $300!! They replaced our pumps control pressue switch and the capacitor which is what lead to it failing in the first place not at all what these people were trying to sell us. Needless to say we'll never be using this service again nor recommending.

  I am located in Jacksonville, FL and I cannot recommend the plumbing services from Lickety Split. The services were extremely overpriced and the quality was sub par. I recently had a new toilet flange installed, a shutoff valve replaced, a toilet supply line repair and a sink installation. When the initial crew came in, they were quoting close to $1000/hour (I did the math) for some of the work. It seemed that their minimum for any service was $500 no matter how small. Fortunately, they were willing to negotiate some of the pricing after I showed them a competitor’s estimate. The technician replaced the shutoff valve with a plastic valve not a brass valve. It should’ve been a gold valve for the price they were asking. Unfortunately when they put in the new toilet flange it was installed too high. So to cover up his mistake, the technician shimmed the toilet all the way around the base causing it to rock back and forth just days after the install and the caulk came undone with the movement. The sink was installed not level. I can only hope that the supply line is going to hold. The positives I can give are that their warranty crew was knowledgeable and respectful. Robert and his team did a great job fixing the amateur work the initial crew did on the flange. Keshia was a pleasure to talk to on the phone.

  We have had nothing but horrible service, From installation to payments, everything has been a mess! They sure were good at communication when they were trying to sell the items but now that we’re having issues nobody wants to help.

  Hunter promised repair job would be completed on the weekend. I agreed to the price based on his statement. Come Sunday, I try to follow up with them on when they can come. The guy on the phone says he'll try to get more info and reach back. After a few hours, I don't get any followup details so I just tell them to cancel the job and ask for a full refund. Come Tuesday, I see that I've still been charged $3300 so I follow up on when the refund can be expected. They say they'll have accounting look at my case and then follow back. They call me back and the guy tells me that the part they had ordered just arrived and asks when I want them to come. I tell them I don't trust them and I want a refund. He tells me they have to apply a 15% cancellation fee. Makes me think they were ghosting me the whole time until the part arrived so that they can use it as leverage to get me to just go through with the repair.
