  Great company - they came out same day and got my AC back up and running, at a very reasonable price. The technician Cannon was wonderful. He explained everything to me thoroughly and was very professional. They have a very good maintenance plan as well.

  ​DO NOT TRUST: Predatory Sales, Negligence, and Personal Attacks ​I have been a loyal customer for years, but this has been a nightmare. I called Bold City to address a dead animal smell coming from one room. The HVAC tech spent 90 minutes in my attic and pressured me for a $9,000+ duct replacement, claiming it was the "only option" to get rid of the smell. The next day, a wildlife specialist found a massive rat infestation with droppings everywhere within five minutes—something the HVAC tech completely "missed." Replacing the ducts without fixing the pests would have been a $9,000 mistake and not addressed my problem. ​When I tried to pause because I was uncomfortable, I was guilt-tripped and told "five people would not get paid" because of me. When I exercised my legal 3-day right to cancel, the manager became aggressive. ​When I spoke to the owner, he called me a "dishonest person" and said I am not the type of person they want to do business with. He then threatened to withhold my deposit if I posted a review and also demanded I write him an email stating I would never mention his company again if I ever wanted to see my money back. Although it isn't a huge deposit, it should not be held hostage. The company also failed to pull legally required permits before starting work. A formal complaint has been filed with the State of Florida Consumer Protection Division in hopes that this doesn't happen to someone else. STAY AWAY.

  I can’t say enough good things about Bold City AC. Dereck has been absolutely outstanding both times I’ve needed service, once during an emergency back in July and again today for my winter maintenance. He is extremely professional, efficient, and takes the time to clearly explain what he’s doing and what he’s completed, which I truly appreciate. The level of care and expertise gives so much peace of mind, especially during an emergency situation. This company came highly recommended to me the first time, and now I confidently highly recommend Bold City AC to anyone needing reliable, honest, and top-notch service.
