- PBPatricia BritoNov 4, 20251.0Beware of Level Up Contractors I’m writing this review with complete honesty because I’ve been scammed and taken advantage of by Level Up Contractors. Our roof project has been ongoing for over three months — three months filled with excuses and lies. We were told the job would take a maximum of two weeks, yet only about 30% of the work has been done, even though we’ve already paid 80% of the total cost. The owner is extremely difficult to reach. He rarely answers calls, and we often have to wait up to three days for a response. To make matters worse, he performed work without a permit, which caused major delays with the city. After finally obtaining the proper permits, the roof inspection has failed twice, and we still have no tiles delivered or final approval to continue. No offers have been made by the owner to refund us for the unfinished portion of the job. Our contract has clearly been breached, and despite asking respectfully to be refunded for the pending work, he has refused to do so but also has not completed the job. This has been a very upsetting and stressful experience. For three months, we’ve been misled and left waiting while our home remains exposed. We are now stuck with a roof that has no tiles, hoping and praying that it holds up without leaking or causing further damage before this nightmare is resolved. I’m writing this review in hopes that this doesn’t happen to anyone else who looks up this company and considers hiring them because of their so-called “reputable business.”
