I am so disappointed in Victor, the owner of I Care. My 85 year old mother and I a 62 year old single woman were really taken by this company. I hired and PAID Victor over $17,000 to remodel a bathroom to make it handicap accessible for my mom. I found him via Angie's list. The bathroom was to have to be a walk-in shower (no step over), have a pocket door, 3 handicap bars, etc. I paid for a complete gut and remodel . After every paycheck he would tell me something else he could NOT do that we had originally agreed upon. He and his crew were in and out of my condo for over 3 months. Always making excuses why they had to delay. They did zero clean up. Constantly cleaning up myself after his crew. Sweeping my outside walk so not to be fined by my HOA, taking heavy trash out myself that was always left where my mom could stumble over, no drop clothes, no tarps to block off the dust, ALL the sawing of wood, tile was done inside my tiny condo because they were too lazy to take the steps outside, the toilet is 6 inches from the wall, the walls were not painted, glass for shower never installed although paid for. I had to pay another contractor "Mario in Kings Point" to install the glass which was an additional $2,600. I was to have a pocket door at the bathroom. Victor was dishonest when he came to me and said that he could NOT install a pocket door because said wall was a support wall. This was a lie. Again I had to pay Mario to take down the hideous barn door Victor forced on me and install the pocket door. Another $2500 that I had to pay which Victor had been paid for. The barn door that Victor installed left no privacy for the bathroom. Hung too high with large gaps on either side of the door. The quality of his work is so poor. The only trade that worked hard was his tile guy. The poor kid had zero protective gear, no mask, no eye protection. My complaint with this kid, he did all the tile cutting inside my condo and it was stressful and a mess.
My other BIG complaint. His crew often used MY tools :electric drills, sander, hand tools, drill bits and often without even asking permission. I am still missing some small hand tools which were my fathers. I was to be reimbursed for the vanity mirror , that never happened. As a matter of fact Victor himself installed the mirror and I had to reinstall due to the poor installation. This is true with the toilet paper holder and I never got a towel bar installed. What makes this even more tragic, my mother used her savings to pay for this project. She could not shower in our other bathroom. As she sat in the condo for over 3 months with the chaos of the project, her mental health suffered. She ended up in the ER with a panic attack and never came home. She died before the project was complete. I have been working with Angie's List trying to get Victor to make this right but he refuses. Angie's list has tried to get him to agree to arbitration but he has disappeared. I too have had health issues and been mourning my mother. As soon as I am able I will be filing a complaint with the courts. I am adding photos and can add more or answer any questions if posted. PLEASE BE AWARE! DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. Unfortunately I trusted Victor and paid him all cash. Shame on me for being so trusting. Photo 1-2 : TP holder Victor installed fell out and left this huge whole. Photo 3 : the three door handles installed were ALL installed backwards. Photo 4: this light was taken down and left hanging by Victor. Photo 5: toilet installed 6 inches from wall. Photo 6: Pocket door I had installed by new contractor. Photo 7: Toilet . Photo 8: Shower was NOT to have a step. Photo 8: vanity installed a foot from the wall. I was able to get Victor to correct this before walking out on the job. He walked out because I reported him to Angie's list and he had a temper tantrum . I tried to get him to correct his mistakes before having to take all of these steps to correct the wrong done to me from Victor's I (NO NOT ) care company.

BUYER BE AWARE! Victor has an awesome presentation with a professional beginning. He does that to get your money. Victor was always on time to get a check, but NEVER completed the job. Signed contract 10/22, started work 11/22, never completed the job. Victor was fired 3/23. Victor's workers used blobs of thinset instead of a square notched trowel patterns for tile install. There was no lining to the shower floor area, prior to adding concrete. Victor kept the drain the same size, made the shower bigger, but never centered the drain, which caused the pitch to be off (water would not drain.) After the first install the floor had to be removed and redone. The second floor tile, I ended up purchasing because I was never given the opportunity to select my own material (although I was told I would be able to)The dust was everywhere, for months I had to sleep in a guest room. Rendering showed charcoal gray colored cabinets, I received royal blue, Victor had my new cabinets painted black. We are without a master bathroom for the last 7 months. This has been a nightmare, the pictures that I have included only touches the negligence and poor workmanship. I lost all of my money, quoted 32 K gave Victor 24 k and still without a complete bathroom. NOONE would even attempt to fix what Victor started. I am forced to start from scratch. Found Icare on Anji's, I refuse to use Anji when they promote an unethical company.

We had an appointment for an estimate and they canceled 10 minutes before the scheduled time. We were already on our way to meet them.

Our family just completed an extensive kitchen remodel with IcareConstruction. What a great experience we had with this company from the first phone call to their office to our completed kitchen. What makes this company unique is their in-house designers and contractors that work with you from start to finish....they brought good ideas to the table and were great listeners. The entire company is professional, friendly and bring a positive attitude into your home. We cannot recommend them enough, our kitchen turned out beautiful. Thank You Victor
