They didn't show up for an appointment a couple times for my yearly cleaning/servicing and gave me an excuse that they were only dealing with "heat calls". Every time I rescheduled they would no show and play the same games. It's frustrating and quite frankly they're in breach of contract. The man and woman who take turns answering the phones are both quite rude.

Viglione is the laziest most incompetent HVAC company in Connecticut! They don’t return phone calls and they no show appointments.

Earlier this year I purchased a newly renovated home that was built in 1910. She's old but in very good shape. Although the heating system is brand new, there seemed to be some connection issues between the first and second floor which in the end I reached out to Viglione Heating and Cooling to come take a look, diagnose and hopefully fix. The very pleasant & knowledgeable technician connected some wires & installed a new thermostat downstairs, essentially doing what we thought needed to be done. At the end of the technicians visit, he advised my family to reach out to Gary at Viglione to discuss a yearly contract of $154 but if we were to call Gary that day, they would use the payment for that days visit for the first years contract. The cost of the repair was about $175, the technician was given about $220 total for doing what seemed to be a great job. We were satisfied with the work, spoke with Gary & he advised the same thing the technician did pertaining the contract pricing for a year, along with the details of having the first years contract already being paid by that days service payment. That same evening we realized that the upstairs heat was not working properly & needed to call Gary as soon as possible. Two days later I give him a call to let him know that we hadn't received our contract yet & wanted to schedule someone to come back out. I called Gary twice after that, both times he took my information down & said billing would be sending me a contract with all the information I need. Now a month passed, its getting colder out and I'm still having issues with my upstairs heat. I finally receive a contract a month and a week later from when I had the technician come out & the original phone call I had with Gary. When opening the contract, I realize not only is the price on it incorrect, there are ridiculous spelling errors & no where for me to sign. I immediately called Gary to confirm what I'm looking at & he again says he will take my information down & call me back. 2 hours later he calls back with nothing but a thank you for having tipped the technician very well & a promise of figuring out why my contract is incorrect & he makes an appointment for me to have someone come out and take a look at what the issue is. At this time, Gary does not tell me that I will have to come out another $175 for the service because the contract hasn't been signed. With incorrect information & no indication on where to sign, or how to send it back, I wait until my appointment. I then had to have my father reschedule the appointment due to a scheduling conflict, it was then that Gary informed my father that we would be coming out of pocket for this visit. He advised Gary that is incorrect. It is now going on 2 months since I originally called for my heating system to be fixed. I called Gary this morning 12/1 to discuss what's going on being that my appointment is later in the day. As always I call and am put on hold for 10 minutes. After being on hold, as nicely as literally humanly possible, I give Gary all the details again of what's going on & how I am still without heat upstairs. I then end with "The verbiage on this contract is incorrect in terms of spelling & pricing so I don't feel comfortable signing it without it being fixed" indicating I would still like to do business with Viglione but unfortunately Gary's response to me was "Lady we have customers without heat, its a little more important than spelling errors." Off the bat, I knew this wasn't going to work. He must not have comprehended all of what I said. It's going on 2 months since I called to have my heat fixed, the pricing on the contract is incorrect & I am going to be charged for another tech visit when it wasn't fully fixed in the first place. The spelling errors were just icing on the cake & all Gary seemed to hear from our conversations over the last 2 months. I decided not to move forward with this company strictly because of Gary's consistent unprofessionalism.

Thought my thermostat was dead and wanted Viglione to put it in. Turns out my Zone Valve was bad. I am glad the gentleman that came out installed my new thermostat but waited to see if the heat came on (whic it did not). I showed him where my Zone valve was and he noticed that it was not acting right. Thank you! Now I have controlled heat and not full blown heat (which is how I had heat bypassing the Zone valve).
