I needed a maintenance check on my hot water heater. I have never had an issue but since I joined the friends and family program at Blue Sky, it is easier to maintain house system since I receive priority bookings. I received fast and knowledgeable service. The tech talked through all aspects he was checking and gave me recommendations to consider. Price was reasonable. I am glad I have a trusted source to call on when I need

I have waited to do any kind of comment or review.
It is often said to never review anything while angry. Don't "YELP" angry.
The work done by Blue Sky Plumbing was done in September 2025
It is now mid January 2026.
I've had a great deal of time to look at all aspects of the work and formulate my opinion.
Right after the work was "completed" I called the representative who originally estimated / Sold the job
He came to our property to look over the work and listen to my concerns / complaints.
To start the two people who performed the work were polite enough with me, the home owner.
While on the job there were all kinds of mixed communications between the two. I noted at times they were conflicted and would appear to argue.
Other times over the few days here the seemed to be on the same page.
On at least one occasion one of them seemed possibly ill or lacking much if any motivation to work.
All of this is what resulted in the condition our property was left in at the conclusion of the job.
The approach to the job seemed to be to get things done as quickly as could be done.
I've found that most contractors take this approach to save as much in labor cost as possible, regardless of work quality at times.
I've taken several pictures of the finished work as well as the condition of the property upon completion of the job.
Here is a list of my concerns and complaints expressed to the Blue Sky Representative for this job.
A great deal of over spray due to neglect of proper prep prior to painting the installed gas line
This left our brick, foundation, and cedar gate painted with gloss black.
I consider this to be damage to our property that could have easily avoided with attention to detail.
Blue Sky got paid, our property got sprayed.
According to the licensed inspector who reviewed the work, it was not even necessary, according to code,
to paint many of the unions and valves that were painted in whole. That being said, the very last piece of black pipe installed
was left unpainted and left to rust in the rain. Left unpainted after it was explained to me by Blue Sky
how it was required that the entirety of the gas line be painted (again, not necessary) Again a lack of attention to detail.
During excavation the downspout drain to the garage was destroyed . No repair or replacement was offered.
Debris was left on the property from work performed.
When a Blue Sky crew returned to fill the trench that was dug by a company they contracted. A few people showed up to refill the ditch by hand with shovels
as opposed to using the same contractor that dug by machine. It took a much longer amount of time, and the yard was left considerably uneven. This again, I assume
was in an effort to save expense, where as bringing a grader back for a fill and a few passes to even things out would have left our yard as it was prior to the work performed.

Don’t use Blue Sky plumbing, they quoted me one thing for the trip charge over the phone, then something different when they arrived, prices where significantly higher then other places ( the refuse to give any idea of a estimate over phone) and refused to be accountable for their companies mistakes. Overall my experience with them was terrible. I highly recommend avoiding doing business with them

We had a great experience with Blue Sky Plumbing and Heating. Our heat exchanger failed after only two years, and unfortunately the original installer had gone out of business. Even though this technically wasn’t their problem, Blue Sky did everything they could to work with Carrier and get the replacement covered under warranty.
Their technician Oscar was excellent — knowledgeable, professional, and thorough throughout the entire process. The manager, Bill, truly went above and beyond to help resolve the situation and advocate on our behalf, even though he had no obligation to do so.
It’s rare to find a company willing to put in that level of effort for a customer, and we’re incredibly grateful. We will absolutely recommend Blue Sky Plumbing and Heating going forward.

Installers were amazing! Several projects were completed. Adam, Jared, Eli, Chris H, Josh, and Chris P were very knowledgeable and kind. They treated me, my dog, and home with great respect. They took pictures and explained all the work that they had to complete. They also worked very late to ensure everything was working properly and remained within a reasonable price point. I would highly recommend blue sky. The only reason why this isn’t a full 5 stars is because communication wasn’t always the easiest—their phones didn’t always go through. They seem to have a new system that has kinks to get worked out which resulted in my calls not always being returned.
