- BRBrian Redpath3 days ago2.0Our project started well. Rick did a great job at steering us to a good material for our basement floor. He suggested a carbon fiber based plank. Part of the bid was concrete prep. Rick explained that this was an important part of installation and they needed to get it right. He assured me that he had his best crew assigned to the job. The crew showed up and immediately went to work. Some concrete prep was done, both sanding and applying concrete leveling material. However, it was minimal. Much to my surprise, the second day of work only one crew member returned. Late that day he finished and left. Neither the crew leader nor Rick inspected the work. Unfortunately, the concrete prep was poorly done. We have many areas that you can feel the planking give way and hear the plank clank on the concrete as you walk on it. Rick came out and agreed that it wasn’t done correctly, said he would address it. Then he disappeared. I would not recommend Haven Flooring.
