- MTMichael ThomsenOct 16, 20241.0We bought a home in Laporte Colorado this summer and had it inspected by Victor. Since moving in we have had to have the pressure tank for the well replaced. The well company asked if we had an inspection and said this should have been detected immediately. Now that I know the circumstances it should have been obvious to anyone with well knowledge as the well pump cycled on and off every 30 seconds to a minute. This also contributes to a shorter life for the well pump. Replaced for $2000 Two windows in the basement and one upstairs don't close completely to the point that air blows in through them. Water must be coming in as the wood is damaged. Window report reads that they are all ok. It is looking like they will need to be replaced at a cost of $4500-6000. These are the things we paid to find out before buying the house. I recommend finding a different company that actually looks at everything instead of just having cookie cutter phrases in their report with excuses for missing important items. For the windows it reads that screens may prevent them from seeing problems.
