One tech found an issue with the new HVAC in the other zone leaking carbon monoxide. Luckily our CM detector did not go off yet. Since it was installed by another company and still under warranty, they suggested to call them (who came out next day to replace the faulty part and also did a follow up check a few days later). Good catch by the ASI tech!

- KPKarla PhillipsDec 15, 20255.0Took advantage of our ASI Rewards benefits of having a free furnace inspection and Javier Hoyte was the technician for our visit. Javier was friendly, clean, neat and thorough. His pictures and explanations were easy to follow and understand. While Javier did share some new information, he confirmed that our furnace was not safe to use. He also suggested a heat pump system for us and thought a conversation with Scott Rempe may help explain things in greater detail. Scott was able to come out the same evening and really helped explain the ins and outs of a heat pump system. He also was able to line up installation right away for the next day when we decided to move forward with the system. Julio Mendez and Nate were the ducting team who arrived first thing in the morning to get started. Start to finish, they were impeccable. My husband and were pleasantly surprised at how clean our home was from start to finish. And quiet. I really thought there would be more noise. Even our sound sensitive dog wasn’t bothered. While ducting was taking place, the system install team arrived. Rodolfo Garcia, Yazan Samman and Javier Mendivil had the difficult tasks of removing the old furnace (from the tiny laundry room closet) and air conditioning unit. Everyone knew their job and knocked it out! The old system was out and the new one in before we even realized it. All that was left was to explain to us how the new thermostat worked. There was a small hiccup with one of the vents and the install team solved the issue right away. Everyone was cleaned up, vacuumed up and gone by 2pm. In less than 24 hours, we had our inspection of the old furnace , the purchase of the new heat pump system and ductwork plus installation done. In this day and age, you can’t get better results. Thanks ASI!
