I have a very mixed review of two projects that Fuse Service did at my home - a minisplit heat pump and a heat pump water heater.
While the workmanship of the installers was very good and I was happy with the installation, that gave way to major frustration and exorbitant amounts of MY time to complete the contracted work.
The problem was with the heat pump water heater. The salesman clearly outlined what his company would provide. That seemed fine and I chose Fuse. However two major failings on the part of Fuse caused me to NOT recommend them,'
The first was their obligation to obtain a necessary city permit to perform the work. It is in the contract. Nevertheless, they did not even apply for the permit until 10 days after the work had been finished. And only then when I pestered them -- as the permit was requited by Silicon Valley Clean Energy to receive a $2850 rebate. I finally got to "The Permit Department" at Fuse, and lo and behold, they applied for the permit later that day.
My personal conclusion is that had I NOT pursued this, they would have never gotten a permit and kept the $450 they charged me for it. This leads into the real drama.
Another part of the contract was that Fuse Service would apply and obtain a $1100 rebate for me. THEY would do it. This rebate is from a California state agency: TechClean. And the requirement of the program is that indeed the installation company must do the application - not the customer. This lead to 3 months of me having to consistently attempt to get Fuse to perform the obligation of our contract.
The process got to the point where it was almost comical, were it not so aggravating to me and the $1100.
At Fuse you have one phone number. Calling that leads to much promising of action, for which they do nothing. They pass you between "Departments" -- which I learned was a ruse to delay action. "Oh, the Customer Satisfaction Department" has to do that -- I'll message them.
When I would get to a point of thinking I'd gotten them to do something, they'd email with "new" info that I must submit. We made perhaps 4-5 iterations of this game, each taking at least a week. They would only tell me they were awaiting more info when I pursued them. Remember. "THEY are getting my rebate".
I finally contacted TechClean directly about the debacle. They were very, very good people. Although it was true that Fuse was the only party which could get me my rebate, they starting applying pressure on Fuse from their side.
That finally broke the dam. Fuse performed. 3 months.
I just have to laugh at the responses posted on the site from the "owner" and "co-founder" of Fuse Service. Although I requested to speak with him during that period of over two months, he was continually "in a meeting and could not be disturbed". At least I now know how he spends his time...

My Fuse team, Sasha and Vitali, did a great job. They took care to ask how the system would look in each room and listened to our concerns and requested. Done on time and in budget. I highly recommend to go with Fuse for HVAC needs.

Extremely professional, honest, and skilled HVAC company with great technicians. Gene, who came to diagnose my existing HVAC system and give me a quote on the new system, was very good. Henry & Artem were very good at their job, were very courteous, and worked hard to install my Daikin 5T heat pump system. I have used Fuse before for electrical work, but this was the first time I used them for a major HVAC installation. Their prices were reasonable (compared to other quotes I got) and the work was top-class. As long as they have technicians like Henry & Artem & Gene, I will continue to seek them for my other projects. I recommend this company without hesitation for anyone with HVAC projects
