  I highly recommend CAL-PAC ROOFING SAN MATEO. I had to get a new roof ASAP due to an insurance issue. Earl from Cal Pac came over immediately and he was extremely sympathetic to our situation. He was a straight shooter and encouraged me to get other quotes. We took his advice and in the end found CAL PAC to be reasonably priced. We signed the papers and within a couple weeks we had guys up on our roof. We're not only pleased with the work that was done, but we are also happy with the transparent way that they conducted their business. We have nothing but good things to say about CAL PAC.

  Cal-Pac is amazing, the quality of work is outstanding and their expertise is unmatched. We've worked with them for a while; they were one of the few roofing companies we reached out to that were willing to do repairs (on a roof they didn't build). They replaced an old skylight, removed our old chimney, and added a gutter to the back. We were really happy with the quality of the work and the price. When it came time to do a full roof replacement, they were the first place we called. And to be honest, they weren't the cheapest but we still went with them given our prior experience and the fact they would handle re-mounting our solar system directly. We worked mostly with Brian and Earl, both great guys and incredibly experienced. We had a lot of dry rot issues on our joists and their carpenter did a fantastic job (photos attached). The roof came out better than expected, it looks so clean and makes the entire house look better. We were also impressed with their thorough cleanup of the site each day, the attention to detail (even caulking around the replaced joists for us), and going the extra mile to replace a ceiling panel that was damaged when the old roof was torn off. I will say they're a bit old school, they do most things by phone and don't use any fancy appointment systems. But if you want a roof done the right way by the most experienced people, Cal-Pac is the one you want.

  John and Brian and crew did a great job of installing a Decra roof for us. They answered all of my many rounds of questions, kept us informed of project status every step of the way, started and ended in timely fashion, and were a pleasure to work with. The roof is beautiful! Recommended!

  John and the team at Cal-Pac Roofing did a great job installing our PV solar system. They provided sound advice on system size and panel location, took care of permitting and communication with PG&E, and showed up to do the work when they said they would. I highly recommend Cal-Pac Roofing company.

  Solar and battery installation. Great service, on time and great value for the money. As a retired plumbing contractor I sometimes expect more out of other tradesmen. I got that level of service from Cal-Pac Roofing on this job. Very happy!
