I remember the installation process was easy and I could not have been happier with the quality of the shades themselves. Not one problem in almost 20 years. Fast-forward to 2025, I had moved and was looking for similar drop shades for a different home. Not remembering which company I had used in the past, I called several local companies to come out and give estimates for new exterior shades. The third company that came to the house had by far the best price, and seemed to me to be the best quality. Materials, installation, electric were all included in one bid. Easy. After being handed the written estimate, I recognized the co logo and realized this was the same company I had used almost 20 yrs prior. I was blown away to see that not only the same company, but the same owner, Darren, was still in business and was here taking measurements for my new exterior shades. After making the connection, we had a laugh and were both thrilled that I would be hiring Dropshades for a second time. The new job consisted of four electric exterior shades. I chose the exact color and darkness as I had in my previous home. They have been installed now for over two months and I could not be happier. Dropshades is a small, family run business. These are quality shades at the best prices in town. The fact that they have been in business, under the same ownership for over 20 years here in the Coachella Valley speaks volumes!
