- ALAdil LotiaDec 10, 20255.0Our A/C was nearing the end of its life and we thought about replacing it (and the home furnace) with a heat pump. I had asked a friend who had his home HVAC upgraded for recommendation(s) and he recommended FUSE, so we contacted them for a quote. Jeff came to check out the project. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant and patiently answered all our questions. He sent us three quotes and we decided to go with a Daikin heat pump system. Our installers, Andy and "Ace" were both friendly and professional. It took them two days to install the system. Our system is in the attic and they have done a really clean job with the installation. Frankly, the attic looks cleaner now than when they started! Our attic used to have a pull-string light and they replaced it with a proper electrical outlet with a switch. They didn't have to do that, but it is much nicer now. In addition they replaced an outdoor outlet with a proper GFCI outlet with a weather-proof cover. During the installation they did run into some snag with the thermostat, but they worked diligently to resolve it. During this whole process I also worked with their rebate and permit coordinator, Maria, and she was very efficient and prompt in replying to my emails. One thing I would like to see FUSE improve on is to unify their multiple CRM systems and provide a consistent number to call. Different emails had different reply-to addresses. It made some of the communication a bit confusing. In spite of that, they have been great to work with and I will definitely contact them for any future work (such as replacing the gas water heater.)
