    Daniel B. recently came out for our routine six-month inspection. He was polite, highly knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. While these maintenance visits often involve discussing potential system upgrades, Daniel was respectful, straightforward, and never pushy. He conducted a thorough investigation of our HVAC system and provided excellent service from start to finish. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and professional technician.

    Joshua was great - we had a new HVAC unit and thermostat installed by Kahn Air back in September which stopped working unexpectedly the other day in the middle of a heat wave. Called to have someone come out to service and was told they didn’t have availability for 9 days. Naturally I was furious, but after a few complaints the company handled like professionals and had someone out the next morning. Turns out it was a clogged drain line, which Joshua took care of immediately. Very pleased and appreciated the professionalism and urgency from the whole team. Thanks guys!

    AC broken first appointment wasted my whole day 12-4:00 window. Tech arrived 40 Minutes past end of window despite my calls to dispatch which assured me 3:15. Had to reschedule- this was a headache and took multiple calls as they use AI and it does not work. Tech came back for second appt only to tell me there was a leak in my AC and he would need another service call with his supervisor and the repair would be quite costly 8,000.00 no thanks. My units are 5 years old so I'm sure the next visit would be a song and dance about how I need to buy a new unit. These places are not repair places they are ac salesmen. Found an actual repair company that fixed it in one hour. It

    If I could give this company zero stars I would.. I called Brody Pennell to do a small repair on my HVAC unit and they told me THE ENTIRE HVAC system was broken and I would have to repair every single piece. The repairman was very kind (or at least he seemed to be) so I believed him. In fact, he was so kind to me telling me he was a "girl dad" that I even told him I didn't know anything about HVAC systems and I needed all the help I could get (my first mistake!) They quoted me an INSANE $14-16k for the entire repair and parts. Luckily, a neighbor told me I should make sure the unit wasn't under warranty before I paid for all the parts. I contacted the company that made the unit and they said since it was installed IN 2022 that it was still under parts warranty. When I called back Brody Pennell to ask them to come do the repair under warranty they said that they could not honor the warranty and I would have to buy the system from them (a waste of 10k++ dollars). I then found a new repair company who said they could do the repair under warranty. They also told me they highly doubted that the entire system was broken since that's very rare and that they would need to come check it out. I was frustrated that I would need to pay another diagnostic fee for a company to come look at my unit but I agreed. After 20 minutes with my system they had fixed it.... they showed me that someone had gone in and CUT MY WIRES so that the system wouldn't work! They also said that unfortunately they have seen this before and companies will sometimes purposefully break a unit so that they can sell you an entirely new one. I am beyond upset by this and the fact that they would prey on people like this. I dug deeper into the reviews and I am sadly not the first person something like this has happened to. Now my unit is working perfectly normally again and I saved 16k because I got a second opinion. Please be smart and don't believe what this company tells you!!!!

    I strongly recommend staying away from Brody Pennell Heating & Air Conditioning company. If I could leave a 0 star I would do so. Their pricing is outrageously inflated and the estimate process was completely unprofessional. The technician barely inspected the system and quickly threw out a quote that was far higher than multiple other companies I contacted. It honestly felt like they were trying to take advantage of the situation rather than provide an honest assessment. A professional HVAC company should take the time to properly diagnose the problem, explain the options, and provide transparent pricing. None of that happened here. This was one of the most unprofessional estimate experiences I’ve had. If you don’t want to be overcharged or pressured into an overpriced repair, do yourself a favor and get estimates from other companies first. Our estimate was $8,000 and it was fixed with $1,000. They charge $240/can of Nitrogen we paid $73 so just compare and save yourself an outrageous charges. They charged for $300 diagnostic which showed nothing and they were asking more expensive diagnostic tests to run. STAY AWAY Very disappointing experience.
