He was clear about how he wanted to do the inspection, and at the same time flexible, as all builders have a slightly different approach towards inspections before closing. From this conversation, and Google reviews, it was clear to me that we wanted Neil to do our inspection. We ended up scheduling this two days after the anticipated closing date, agreeing on the risk that we would need to change the scheduled date. Neil arrived sharp on time and talk me through what he was going to do once more. He was also flexible and rearranged his activities, when I announced that we had a deadline because the floor was going to be sealed later that day. We the inspection was done we talked through the mentionable findings, such as a crack in a roof tile, and Neil walked me through some of the house's idiosyncracies, such as the particular mixed use of GFC outlets and breakers. The house inspection was done with a drone, which I liked as it would mitigate the risk of damaging roof tiles while doing the inspection. The report was clear and well organized. Thee was a minor thing (not a defect) that I wished he would have mentioned. When I called him to ask his advice about it, Neil took the time to help me understand what was going on. I would hire Neil again, should I need an inspection be done in future.
