- KLKatie LyonSep 9, 20255.0I wish I had hired Vern to install my patio cover. We ran into some problems with a patio cover done by another installer, and Vern has been SOOOO helpful. We have another contractor out fixing some problems done by the previous homeowner, and some shady contractors we hired in the past. No patio cover company has been willing to work on a patio cover they didn't install. While Vern doesn't have the time to fix ours himself, he's been an awesome resource for our current contractor. Learn from my mistake - NEVER DO ANYTHING WITHOUT A PERMIT!
