  We needed a replacement for a missing dresser drawer with a cherry front. Val and his team exceeded our expectations -- they were able to match the design and finish of an existing drawer even better than we were expecting. The cost and time to complete the project were in line with Val’s estimates.

  Val and Tom exceeded my expectations with their craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality. They delivered on creating a beautiful custom bathroom vanity and linen tower. I was very discerning on the color of the rift oak vanity. I knew going into the process that achieving the color you see on social media sites is challenging to create in person. Val, Tom and their cabinet stainer were so patient with me. They brought me many samples, allowed me into their shop to watch custom stains be made and eventually went the extra step of bleaching the oak to get the exact look I was trying to achieve. We have worked with other cabinet makers in the past and this was by far our best and most professional experience. I feel so grateful to have their beautiful work displayed in our home, from the turned legs to the inside of the drawers which accommodate our plumbing, every detail was discussed and thoughtfully created. Our project was on time, on budget, and Tom even stopped by to make sure our inset drawers were perfectly aligned. Thank you so much!

  Lafayette Woodworking exceeded my expectations. Craftsmanship was of the highest quality. Val, the owner, presented several design suggestions, all of which were amazing. He walked us through the process and at no time were there any surprises. Highly recommend for those looking for unique high quality craftsmanship. Could not be more pleased with our beautiful custom made bedroom closets and bathroom vanity.

  Lafayette Woodworking did several custom jobs for me. A full kitchen with cabinets, custom install facings for the built-in refrigerator and dishwasher, 2 bathroom vanities and a built-in closet. Everything they created is gorgeous and well built. Once I tried custom built in my house, I realized it's totally worth the extra money because it's the perfect look and fit and I'll never have to re-do it. I always had them install and they did that well too.
