Excellent service! I called for a toilet and spigot leak and they scheduled an appt immediately with only a two hour service window, which is unheard of. Shaunncy was prompt and completed the service within the two hour window he was very proficient in his job and explained exactly what the issue was and how he fixed it. Pricing was extremely reasonable, no charge just to come out. I ended up signing up for their maintenance program and will use no other service in Chico!

Tech arrived on time. Service is incredibly over priced. Over 2k to repair a 3/4" pvc 90' fitting. Had to pay for an extra guy because the first tech couldn't turn the water back on and run back to the break to see where the break was. Seems to me a video from a cell phone could have done that, but no, cost an extra $500 for an extra guy to come out. Mud footprints left on driveway and sidewalk where the service vans where parked. Repair appears to be properly done.

Craig and his helper did an excellent job redoing our rat eaten water pipes under our 5 year old manufactured home😩. It’s a very dirty and yukky job. We were so thankful they did it quickly AND very well\. We have water again!!!

Our propane water heater stopped working. Called Earls plumbing and a technician was out the next day. I told him that the pilot light would not stay on. Every time I lit it, it went out the second I let go of the button. I even demonstrated this for him so he could see for himself. He told me that since my water heater is 20 years old, it could be anything. He said to replace all the electronic parts that could be causing the problem would be around $1,500. He recommended a new water heater. He gave my wife and I a quote just shy of $3 600. Which i thought was steep. But, we accepted. Mostly due to the fact he said he could do it within 2 days, awesome. 2 hours later, I get a phone call from the tech that was just at the house. He said the price quote we agreed on was wrong. The new price to do the job is just south of $4,800. He emailed me the new quote and told me call him or the office if I wanted to proceed. That really rubbed me the wrong way. Here's the best part. I started poking around on line and found that 90+ percent of the time, the issue of the pilot light not staying lit is the thermocouple. I thought no way. Surely the tech would have mentioned that little tid bit. So, I removed the thermocouple, which was a piece of cake, even for this dummy. Purchased a new one at Home Depot for $9.27 installed the new one and Ta Da!! Pilot light stays lit and hot water heater is up and running. Problem solved. No doubt I will be needing a new water heater soon as mine is way past it's prime. I hear mostly good things about Earls Plumbing. I did appreciate the fast response and time frame of having a new water heater installed. Didn't appreciate the agreeing on a price and then being told something else. Also, didn't like that the tech never once tried to diagnose the problem.

Earl's Plumbing gave us an appointment for the following morning at 8:00 am, they arrived on time, Chad was friendly and courteous. He listened to the problem, worked to figure out the best way to handle the problem, called the office to obtain a piece of machinery and drove to meet his coworker half way to the office to save time. Chad got to work right away and managed to get the entire problem solved to our satisfaction. Have called on Earl's plumbing many times and will continue to use their services. Thank you.
