    I am so thankful for Jeremiah that made it possible for my family and I to get a heat pump installed. He spent so much of his time answering all my questions and concerns. Most importantly, he got us approved for the rebate. If it wasnt for all the help Jeremiah provided, we wouldn't be in this fortunate situation that we are in now. We lost heat during the some of the coldest months of the year and he did everything in his power to get us booked in as soon as possible. Thank you so much Jeremiah and pope and sons! Much love

    Started out well but quickly turned into a mess. First, was quoted a price and timing over the phone with some pressure to pay the deposit there. I needed the work done and they said they could come in a few days so I jumped on it. After that it went down hill, took the day off to meet the installer, no communication about timing and then didn’t show up. Got a call from the office looking to schedule a time 2 weeks in the future, they didn’t realize I had paid or that I had booked a time, which was concerning. Then I got a call from the manager that they can’t do it today and that they under quoted me and that he would confirm timing next week. To his credit he was going to honour the quoted price. Then the first estimator called back and he blamed the installer for getting the date wrong, and it would be next week. Obviously lying as I had just talked to the manager and office about it and that is not what happened. Just seemed to be pushing the problem down the road even though I knew it wouldn’t be next week as the manager had given me a date. They called the next Monday to confirm but couldn’t as they were waiting on a roofer, said they would call Wednesday, they didn’t, I called Friday finally to cancel as I stopped being able to trust them. Not a large job so maybe they just didn’t want to do it but I hate that they just jerked me around. Tldr: Communication mess and felt like I got jerked around and lied to.

    Dylan arrived this a.m when promised to inspect and diagnose issue I was having with our Carrier furnace. He was very knowledgeable and informative about my heating cooling system. Will definitely use Pope and Son in the future for any maintenace issues.

    Technicians were courteous and professional. I would have given 5 stars but the part needed for the gas fireplace took much longer than expected. When I called after two weeks of hearing nothing they said they would look for it and call me right back. No call came. After waiting another week I called again. They said some parts just came in so they would take a look and call me right back. No call came. After another week of waiting I called again third time, now the part was in. I suspect someone dropped the ball and never ordered the part initially and once I called to see what the wait was, they quickly ordered it then had to wait for it to come in. So the jist of this is the lack of communication. I’m not sure where we would be at if I hadn’t called three separate times.

    We had a heat pump/electric furnace installation this past month. We had a great experience with Jeff as the initial contact with giving us a quote which was accurate to what we expected. He guided us with the bc rebates and suggested a Continental system which allowed another rebate. We had Lance and Jackson install the system. They were very professional and competent and installed the system with two days. We also had an electrician Ed tidy up our electrical panel who also was efficient and acted in a timely manner. All in all it was a very smooth transition from an oil furnace to an electric furnace and an addition of the air unit outside. We would highly recommend Pope and Sons Refrigeration to anyone.
