- MHMilad HajimirzaahmadNov 12, 20251.0We recently purchased our first home and decided to upgrade the flooring. After much effort, we found and bought the exact engineered hardwood we wanted. We visited this store for the adhesive, but the owner convinced us to use their installation service for approximately 800 sq ft of flooring, promising a quick, 3-day job. However, immediately after the installation was complete (10 months ago), we noticed that sections of the floor shift and move when walked on. When we brought this serious issue to the installer's attention, we were simply told it was because "the home was not level." As the installers are the professionals, we are deeply concerned as to why they did not check the subfloor for levelness before beginning the installation. Proper subfloor preparation, including leveling, is a fundamental requirement for any successful engineered hardwood installation. Ignoring this crucial step resulted in a poor quality, unstable floor. This experience has sadly cast a shadow over our excitement for our new home. The poor workmanship is a daily, frustrating reminder 10 months later and is upsetting for our entire family. We truly regret contracting the installation work to this store. We hope others can avoid a similar costly and disappointing experience. We are currently exploring all available options to resolve this significant issue, including filing a claim in Small Claims Court.
