  Russet Southwest installed new heating and cooling units at our house. Anthony Ramirez performed the first maintenance check as winter was coming. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, and patient. I say patient because the new systems came with a new thermostats that I could hook up to the home Wi-Fi and had many many capabilities that the previous thermostat did not have. Anthony walked us through getting the thermostats set up, connected to Wi-Fi, and working as expected. He was great. He was also part of the team that installed the two new units so he is very familiar with our setup.

  Russett Southwest has the greatest staff! We know exactly when they will arrive, we trust them to do the job right and to suggest improvements. Aldo was our maintenance person today. He took pictures of our unit, explained everything clearly, told us what he suggested he replace, and did the work promptly. We recommend this company without reservation.

  It’s always nice when you have a professional, competent and friendly person providing a service. Sal from Russet Southwest was just that. He methodically inspected our dual-zoned heating and AC equipment, documented all measurements and findings, and provided feedback with estimates on items that needed attention. He emailed his inspection results, complete with photos of all. I did not sense any pressure to pay for repairs or upgrades, though we did discuss some options. I felt very confident and comfortable with Sal’s work and interaction, and was glad that we are on a service contract with Russet. No additional cost for the visit, as it was included on our service plan. Keep up the good work Russet and Sal!

  There are so many HVAC companies that I find it hard to choose one. I had heard of Russet SW for years, but never tried them until now. I'm glad I did! They installed my new AC and heater system and did it right on time, quickly, and professionally. Danny and Rene were both really good to work with. They obviously had a lot of experience because they knew exactly which wire and which pipe and which sensor went where. It was a bit of a complicated installation because of the cramped space available in my house. But they measured everything ahead of time and made it work. They also coordinated with the crane operator to deliver the new compressor to my roof and remove the old unit. Once it was up and running the system was blowing very cold air, stronger than my previous one did. And when we tested the heater it was good hot airflow as well. The guys worked hard but also had a fun sense of humor and were careful about cleaning up and respecting my property. I would definitely recommend them for other people who need A/C or heating service -- or a full new system installation!

  The appt was for the winter heating service only but the tech stated he also had to check the cooling system, then said I needed to replace the capacitor as it was low. This status only 3 years old and should have been replaced under warranty. I feel that I was taken advantage of by this company! The new owners are losing clients because of this strong SELL strategy instead of providing good reliable service. very Disappointing. I am sharing this information with all of my friends. A follow-up to the Company’s response: Yes, I was provided a $20 discount on the winter service from $99 down to $79. Thank you. However, to charge $179 for 5 minutes of work to install a capacitor that was ***Under Warranty*** and the cost of the part is less that $10, is Excessive in any world. There is simply no justification for this and this practice is unacceptable. I have yet to see ONE positive review of this company recently!
