Our contractor sent us over to AZ.Tile to find countertops. We were amazed at the size and selection and it had us talking about new upgrades in the future.

Today I visited AZ Tile in Tempe and it was such a great experience. Every single person greeted me and walked me to the exact department that would assist me. Teresa Diaz got me all signed in, took my info and got my slabs ready to view. I loved her enthusiasm and knowledge. I left with my order in place and a big smile on my face!!!

We stopped by to look at natural stone slabs, floor tiles and backsplash tiles for a kitchen remodel. We were incredibly impressed with the entire experience. The employees shared quite a bit of information and answered all our questions. The store was well organized, especially the slab area. We were able to examine several variations of the material we needed, all located in the same area, adjacent to each other. We quickly found 4 types that we liked, including a top contender for our kitchen. In the tile area, everything is well labeled. We were encouraged to take samples. We learned about some of the advantages and drawbacks of different flooring tiles. We are encouraged after looking at other stores, that we have located tiles and slabs for our kitchen!

I bought some subway tile for my bathroom shower and when my expert tile guy saw them he showed me how they were bowed. But he was able to use the tile in a stacking pattern only and he made it work. I had about a 1 3/4 cases of tile took it back and I was told they do not take open cases back. I was surprised as I took back floor tile before without being refused in individual pieces. I told him my tile guy said this tile was bad and bowed. He said this was cheaper tile and must have been a bad batch. So if it was a bad batch why not take it back. Update: I received a phone call from the regional manager at Arizona tile and had a nice conversation with him about the issues I had with their product and customer service. He offered to take back the loose tile and said he was going to address this as a teaching moment for the staff. It is not worth the trip back over to return the left over tile. But I do appreciate his call and concern and his concern for his employees and how to handle customers. The tile still was subpar at only 3/8 of an inch thick which might be the reason for the bowing in the tile. Just need to be careful what you buy there.
