Dust free tile removal in the Phoenix Metropolitan area featuring the patented DustRam® System. My name is Jack King the President of Arizona Home Floors LLC and DustRam LLC. I am also the inventor and currently hold 5 patents for the DustRam® System, especially designed for removing tile, ceramic, saltillo, slate, stone, wood, vinyl, and even carpet dust free. I am a proud member of the Better Business Bureau and have maintained a complaint-free A+ rating. The DustRam® System evolved from feeling frustrated by the amount of time it took to remove tile and thinset, only to watch as fine concrete dust settled in every nook and cranny; despite using plastic and tape. The patented DustRam® was created as a chipping hammer accessory designed to break tile, stone, saltillo, slate, ceramic, porcelain from the sub floor dust free. There are now over 100 components comprising the DustRam® System. If you are a particular homeowner, have serious allergies or health issues, don't let the fear of dust stop you from remodeling your floors. We eliminate the messiest part of remodeling. My equipment and processes more than comply with the new OSHA regulations on silica dust: osha.gov/silica/ We GUARANTEE your home will be as clean or cleaner when we leave than when we arrived! Truly dustless removal. I'm in the middle of removing tile and carpet to put in all wood tile on my floors at home. I talked with a few contractors who didn't use dustless systems or had a "dustless" system that still required you to put plastic everywhere. I called Nick to talk about his services and he explained in depth the process and how truly dustless his system was. He assured me that there would be no need to tape stuff off or cover it in plastic. Everything I needed to know was explained up front and disclosed, there was a misunderstanding on an additional charge but even that was explained again prior to Nick's crew arriving, so it never was a surprise. Their contract is simple to read through and will tell you any additional charges you might incur while they are removing your tile (baseboard/cabinets installed on top of tile or membrane underlayment), still the prices are reasonable and up front so there is no sticker shock. On the day of removal Nick and his team communicated when they expected to arrive. They were trying to squeeze me in earlier than scheduled as a convenience to both of us, but told me they would be coming from a different job they needed to do that morning. I was not able to interact with Nick or his crew in person as I was at work, however, my wife spoke to them and they explained everything and confirmed the final charges/measurements. My wife felt comfortable with the crew the whole time and said they worked very efficiently. We did find out that there was some black type of thinset on our flooring that they normally charge more for removal, but the amount or thickness of it must not have been that much, as Nick only mentioned it but did not charge for it. When it was all said and done, I had a beautiful concrete floor that looks better than the bare concrete where I only ever had carpet installed. There was absolutely no dust that got into the house because of the removal and it was clear to see because we had just cleaned our counters the night before the crew arrived and they were still clean when they left. All said and done, we spent about $1200 on 100% dustless tile removal after being quoted $500 for dusty tile removal that would require us to do an immense amount of prep work. The hours of frustration from prep and cleaning that I saved are well worth the price difference (I'm a bit of a clean freak). I plan to use AZ Home Floors should I ever need additional tile removed (which I really hope does not happen for quite some time). Thanks Nick, Maryanne (crew leader), and the rest of you for all your hard work! Attached are some photos of the before and after for this project. As you can see, the floors are ground so smooth, you could probably just stain the concrete and call it a day if that's the look you wanted to go for.

We were put in touch with Arizona Home Floors through our Interior Decorator. She said they did a very thorough job and used a dust-free floor removal. I must say that we were somewhat skeptical that it would be dust free. Since we had to stay in our home during our remodelig project, we had hoped it would at least cut down on some the dust produced by removing ceramic tile in our kitchen. To our amazement and total delight the well-trained staff removed the floor and sanded the concrete without any evidence of dust. In today's world, companies don't always live up to their claims. This company does! We highly recommend Arizona Home Floors.

"NO DUST" We are remodeling our kitchen and baths. At the same time the we are putting hardwood in our office. We had another contractor remove a little over 500 SQFT of Travertine in our kitchen during remodel. He had warned us that it would be dirty and dusty, that was a understatement. 3 days of jack hammers and a dirty dusty mess, we looked for a different option for the removal of travertine in our office. I found an ad for Arizona Home Floors claiming they could remove tile "Dust Free". I called figuring even if we had 1/2 the dust and it took only a day (office is just under 200 sqft) we were way better off than what we had went thru last week. The team arrived on time and were in and out in 3 hrs. The floors are clean right down to the concrete, and ready for hardwood. I can not be more pleased with Arizona Home Floors. If you have a project that requires the removal of tile, don't have your contractor remove, call Arizona Home Floors. In case you didn't see earlier in this post, "DUST FREE"!! I wish I had heard of Arizona Home Floors before we had the kitchen work done

After watching videos on the company website showing their tile removal process, I called and spoke to Rene who took time to answer all of my questions with detailed descriptions of the process. She was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable, and I set up an appointment for an estimate. The owner and assistant came to measure tile and provide the estimate, with measurements taken down to the inch for accuracy. I scheduled an appointment for tile removal, and the day before they were to arrive, Rene called to confirm the crew arrival time of 7am the following day and offered to answer any last-minute questions or concerns I might have. The crew arrived on time at 7am, coordinated tasks together like a well-oiled machine, worked diligently and carefully, did not hesitate to discuss any issues with me to make sure I was happy with the outcome. The crew remained in contact throughout the day with the home office for updates. I was blown away by their equipment and precision, as well as the speed at which the three workers were able to remove the tile and thinset down to the bare concrete. They removed 665 square feet of tile and drove away at 3:45pm. While they worked, I kept walking around the house sweeping my hand over countertops and furniture and there was no dust. At completion the crew showed us 5 very large vacuum containers packed with dust resembling the consistency of powdered sugar, they estimated about 800 pounds total. I'm incredibly happy with the results and performance of all their employees, and will not hesitate to use this company again and to recommend them to others.
