- JJJosh JohnsonOct 15, 20251.0I needed some lumber for a workshop I'm building and wanted to try something new and support local but I'm pretty disappointed. I needed roughly sixty 2x4's so not a huge order but in my opinion, 70% of what I got is just unacceptable. The lumber is maybe 5 to 10 cents cheaper than Home Depot or Lowe's and it's just not worth it. I would never come back here because the wood is just too bad, it's garbage. I just can't take any pride in building something with this quality of lumber and definitely would not feel safe working in a building made with this lumber. The best 2x4 I got is still worse than anything you can find at a big box store.
