  Humayoon Rasheed and Gurpreet Gill were both professional and helped me greatly with my furnace issues. Humayoon helped to replace broken parts on my Carrier from 1998 without trying to sell me a new furnace! Amazing from a company like JPS which probably makes its money off these new furnace sales. He was honest and not a sleazy sales guy like I got from Arpis. Gurpreet helped clean my ducts and was also professional, nice and thorough. Both these gentlemen were exceptionally good at their jobs and helped me get what I needed at the best price having to work through their silly membership fees. I honestly wish more companies would hire guys like this and lose all the up charges on membership fees as well as stop pushing new furnaces. I would go back to JPS because of these two gentlemen. They made the experience positive. Otherwise I stick to companies that will fix your furnace without membership fees like Pete the plumber.

  I contacted JPS Furnace & Air Conditioning to take over the servicing of my furnace because I presently have them maintain the air conditioner at my daughter's condo in Mahogany. What started out as an inspection turned into diagnosing the problem as the furnace stopped working completely 2 days later. Devon, the technician diagnosed the problems within minutes of arriving and thankfully had the parts to restore operation within an hour. This outstanding service is the reason I'm a customer of JPS Furnace & Air Conditioning for both properties that I have. Doug

  JPS performed our duct cleaning and furnace cleaning on Dec 16. The portable unit they used to do the duct cleaning hooked right up onto our furnace. It worked really well on our older venting system and got both the cold and hot air systems cleaned very well It was also good to try out the sanitizing spray. We had never had that done before and it seemed to have kept the dust down at the entrance of the vents inside. The furnace cleaning really made a difference as it’s running better and we don’t get burning dust smells. We are happy with results.

  He checked our furnace and told me it was the motor. Fair enough . I asked what a new motor would cost and was told $1695. Showing me the price online. Told me I needed a motor thats only made for trane furnaces that’s why the price is so high. Totally false and couldn’t believe he said this with a straight face. Buyer beware if you need a new motor go to James electric . I took the furnace motor out and they matched it up and I installed and runs great. The motor cost me $225. Even if you paid someone to install it for $ 200. You’re still way ahead. Please be aware of unbelievable falsehoods by this company

  Collector box leak detected in fall furnace inspection. As an annual member I get inspection and part discounts. The repair was quoted at $750 and the part i found online is under $100 before JPS discounts. Being generous if I assume the labor was $650 (likely more given part cost) the job was done in 35 minutes so I was charged a rate of $1,110 an hour. Adding their drive time it was still over $650 an hour. Shame on me for accepting the quote but criminal rates. Great people and no concern with their work but sure feels like I was taken to the cleaners.
