Although he had no knowledge of the electronics industry, he did have extensive retail sales and management experience. After two years in a management position, Jon left and joined the staff at Nantucket Sound. At that time, Jon had gained a greater understanding of the products and attended the Dale Carnegie Sales Training classes. He experienced career success as a commissioned salesman at Nantucket Sound and continued to hone his skills in a job he loved. Hoping to further his career, Jon then started as a salesman at Tweeter. While at Tweeter, Jon expanded his expertise from just stereo systems to include televisions as well.
