  Terrible customer service. Normally I am not one to write a bad review however this can not go unnoticed. I sold my house in September. At closing they told me they were withholding $300 for the water bill and that they would call city of Appleton and get my name taken off and the buyers name put on the water bill. Mind you my water bill has never been more than $150 for 3 months but I said fine. Two weeks after closing I received a water bill and I paid it and showed proof to them so I could get my $300 back. They said great, working on it. However, a week later I noticed that the dates were I correct. I called City of Appleton the first week of October and they stated that First American Title never called to have it switched over and it was still in my name and the couldn’t backdate it I called and emailed them so get this figured out as they never did their job and now I was to owe more money when I had moved out even before the house was listed for sale . However they ghosted me. I had to get my realtor involved to talk to them and she said she had it was handled except they took the money that was mine instead of billing the buyers due to their mistake. It is now December and I still don’t have my money that is owed to me. Highly discourage from using this company!

  If you are purchasing a home through builders Jason Mroz and Arthur Ladish who are DBA under the following: Apple Tree Real Estate, LLC Apple Tree Four, LLC Apple Tree Homes, LLC Apple Ridge of Appleton Apple Tree Fox Valley Homes, LLC First American Title Insurance Company Evans Division in Appleton, WI will not release money held in escrow nor file with an interpleader through the courts if the builder/seller does not honor the contract and a dispute remains despite the contract stating otherwise. Two years have passed since the expiration date of my contract and they refuse to release the money to me despite producing evidence of photos along with emails and texts from the builder the work was not completed, nor will they file with a court interpleader after I have requested a filing on several occasions. They are not impartial; they serve the builder/seller. You will have to file an interpleader with the courts yourself.

  I had a great experience working with First American title in Appleton! My buyer wanted to move his closing up by 2 weeks and they quickly accommodated the changes and made sure we had a perfect and smooth closing! They have great communication and helped every step of the way!
